In the spring of 2008, Lyndsey D. Butler launched her luxe leather label~ VEDA.

Growing up, the Butler family split their time between Texas and their ranch in Argentina which cultivated Veda’s unique aesthetic message: a decidedly urbane interpretation of her North and South American cowgirl roots. In between her globetrotting, Lyndsey loves to spend time in the Hamptons.

“When I go to the Hamptons, my first choice is to stay with friends in a charming house, but if that isn’t an option, I head to Sole East in Montauk.”

The designer goes on to say, “I am obsessed with the clam pizza and the outdoor dining scene at Ruschmeyer’s. But honestly, all I really want to do when I make it out East is read outdoors and play at the beach (any beach, I’m not picky!) I also love perusing Bookhampton and vintage stores whenever possible.”

VEDA translates classic leather practices into modern silhouettes….perfect for haute Hamptonites! VEDA has a growing range of styles, fabrications, and accessories.  KDH loves the grey fur jacket above for a chic Fall Hamptons look~ perfect with skinny jeans or leggings and simple black riding boots!
