Carly shares:  I’m so excited for Summer! What’s at the top of my shopping list?  Everything Denim, especially high waisted flared jeans, and my favorite are by Paige Denim.  I’m also currently craving the Chanel Flap Bag and H&M sneaks below.  Cut-off denim shorts will never go out of style, and whether it be a good pair of skinnies [I tend to resort to Current Elliot], or black distressed straight legs, this is the summer to stock your jean drawer.  Pair your every day denim with tiny tees which speak for themselves, like the Billabong tee above.

Every now and then you gotta go bold.  Something spectacular.  In some cases, something sherbert.  This pink creamsicle cutout dress is far beyond my norm, but let me tell you donning this dress makes for a fierce, yet feminine entrance.  I pair this Elizabeth and James bright beauty with a classic clutch and pumps, throw on my white oversized shades for some sass, and seal the deal with icey pink lipstick. A jacket will always complete your fashion story.  It’s that article of clothing that pulls you together and puts that purpose to your look.  For this summer look, I didn’t want to go too edgy here with my leather go-to bomber, or too playful with my ordinary denim jacket, so I was really excited when I found this slouchy boyfriend blazer by Mural.  It’s light weight, it goes with everything, and it polishes off my casual white ripped jeans & tee look without getting too serious − because let’s be honest, summer and serious rarely go together.  Mural Slouchy Boyfriend Blazer: $74

The jumpsuit.  My new prized possession.  It’s by Maje, and it’s… so maje.  I was casually sifting through the racks and came across this beauty, tried it on for fun [yes, I do this often] and after making my way through a dozen more, should I say “practical items”, this number made it to the register.  A good closet needs to be updated every now and then with a fresh hero piece.  I love that this one can be dressed up with black heels and a blazer, simplified with nude pumps, or even toned down with gold sandals for a warm summer night [totally bringing this to Hawaii by the way].  I have a feeling this maje Maje mood is here to stay.  Maje Pandor Printed Jumpsuit; $495
