The most famous rescue dog on the internet, Miss Peaches, was recently honored with the ‘Golden Bone to the city of Miami’ and is now set to hard-launch in the Hamptons as an honoree at the 15th Annual Unconditional Love Gala hosted by the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation.

Honored alongside Miss Peaches will be her owner and Barstool Sports founder, Dave Portnoy. The two have been taking over the internet in recent months after Portnoy rescued the American pit bull. The celebrity pup has over a million followers on Instagram and is helping the Southampton Animal Shelter to raise money for their foundation.

Proceeds from the Unconditional Love Gala go directly to the rescue animals that the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation supports. The foundation is supported exclusively by donations and grants from the local community. From finding homes for stray and abandoned animals to providing low-cost veterinary care and dog training so that animals can remain in their current homes, the shelter has become a vital resource in the Hamptons community.
