The Montauk Farmers Market on the Green returns on June 9th to downtown Montauk, and every Thursday, from 9am-2pm through the summer season. The market is sponsored by Montauk Chamber of Commerce and also raises funds for the Montauk Food Pantry to which $7,388 was donated last year. The market offers fresh produce from local farmers, baked goods, gourmet specialties and a great selection of local wines. 

“We’re very excited this year to welcome our new vendors,” said Montauk Chamber Executive Director Laraine Creegan. “This Farmers Market, which already offered a wide variety of choices for the discerning foodie, is now even better.” This year, 35 vendors are participating, including five newcomers: Clarkson Ave Crumb Cakes, Hampton Chocolate Factory, Lady J Seafood, Pete’s Endless Summer and The Glowing Tent.  Be sure to look for recipes featuring products sold at the market and spotlights on market vendors on the new Montauk Farmers Market Facebook page.

Amber Waves Farm – Organically grown vegetables, herbs, wheat berries, and whole wheat flour

Balsam Farms – Naturally grown produce, cut flowers and corn
