The Missoni Home boutique turned the traditional Hamptons beach house look on its heels when it opened last summer. The home decor and furnishings arm of legendary Italian fashion house Missoni has been selling out of eye catching soft furnishings, linens, and other textile goods since the day owner Roxane Mosleh [below] and her partner Bobby Ginsberg set up their Jobs Lane shop. Roxane shares, “There is a growing demand in the Hamptons home market for bolder color palettes, contemporary patterns, and edgy fashion-influenced style. The Missoni Home collection has filled that void.”

Stand out design stars of the summer included these products: The Luna hammock, Pasadena cushion,, Perseo throw, and Monterosa candle. “When designing a space around a client’s needs we first educate them on the stories within the collection. As Missoni is a textile company, textile artisans at heart, I Iove educating customers and clients about weaves, yarns, patterns and more – it’s my passion,” says Mosleh. Roxane has received her fantastic new fall collection in-store now, here’s a peak at some of her favorite items:

Not sure if the Missoni look will work in your Hamptons home? Don’t worry, Roxane offers home consultations and will even bring product to show you how the rooms will look and feel. She says,”Sometimes clients need to take items or the hanger of fabric samples out of the store to see how our products work within their spaces, which we’re happy to make possible. Other times, customers ask us to outfit their spaces from top to bottom – one time I outfitted a yacht in Missoni Home outdoor textiles. I went down to the marina and came up to this yacht (that was way bigger than many houses) just sitting there floating, like a home on the water. I brought catalogs and samples and the woman who owned it was so humbled and excited to see everything. There are certain times when that’s all the client needs, to see the product and be inspired in their space. They’re seeking advice and I really want to give it.”

Can’t get enough? “If someone wanted a completely Missoni Home inspired space in their home, with unique and exclusive items, we’d work with the office in Milan to design it specifically for them: rugs, bedding, towels, anything they want. People need to remember, even though Missoni Home is known as the home division of a runway brand, it’s a textile house first and at the core of it they are designers,” says Mosleh.
