Designed by Courtney Moss, Glamourpuss NYC is a collection of classic American accessories with international appeal.  Moss conceived the brand organically out of their own personal need for chic, easy, accessories that can be worn wear all day: from early morning hockey practices with the kids to business meetings followed by drinks with friends. “This season is all about cozy chic, meets stylish and sporty,” Moss tells KDHamptons. “Taking inspiration from city streets to alpine altitudes, the collection emphasizes luxe ease with an elevated touch. Our golden fox vest has a great 70s vibe but with a very modern update [above]. I plan on wearing this piece from fall to spring. It looks great with everything and goes everywhere. Wear with a sweater as an outerwear piece or layer it with a blouse for chic indoor look.”

The success of their first covetable piece, a luxurious rex rabbit fur funnel in an array of eye-catching shades, led to the launch of a full collection in the fall of 2009. From warm winter furry offerings to summer’s island-inspired caftans, Glamourpuss designs throw-on-and-go solutions for chic & easy seasonal dressing. “Our new knitted fur beanie is great for cool fall nights, but when the weather turns colder it will do the trick. It’s sophisticated but with a playful attitude,” says the designer.

Moss brings a powerhouse background of marketing and communications to Glamourpuss having worked for heavy hitter brands including: Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani, Christian Dior, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Versace. She shares,“When chic is in the details, accessories are key.”

“From the folkloric details, a 70’s Vibe, and a very modern attitude, the accessories, layers and jackets are as perfect for the city as the are for the chalet. Glamourpuss offers dynamic destination dressing at its finest,” shares Moss.

“For Hamptons dressing, I love the ease and versatility of a poncho,” says Courtney. “A poncho can go from yoga to lunch, country walks and cozy dinners with ease. They can be dressed up or dressed down.”

Moss adds, “The original cozy Fur Funnel has been reinvented into three new shapes, and offered in a fabulous array of colors. Brightly colored fox fur shrugs, reminiscent of a St. Petersburg ball, inspire a bit of bohemian luxury.”
