NEW KDHamptons Recipe Obsession: Sea-Salted Dark Chocolate & Grilled Plum S'mores!
Ingredients
Glowing embers from a campfire with grill or bbq.
Green sticks for toasting marshmallows
Long Skewers
Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt. – allow ½ large bar per person
Your favorite will work, I like Lindt with Fleur de Sel 5 oz bars
Marshmallows from the IGA
Graham Crackers – Nabisco is my go to
Melted unsweetened butter
Farm stand plums sliced thickly – lengthwise into four slices
Fresh Mint leaves chopped finely.
Open Champagne (or wine).
Instructions
Combine Plums with chopped garden mint leaves and any left over Champagne.
Marinate, covered and refrigerated all afternoon or overnight.
Arrange Chocolate slices onto Graham Crackers broken in half.
As you are ready to serve dessert Thread plum slices onto skewers.
Brush with melted butter.
Grill Plum Slices until you can see some darkening or carmelization.
Remove from grill and set aside.
Gather Marshmallows, sticks and your friends to toast their marshmallows.
As the Marshmallows come away from the fire, place marshmallows directly on top of the chocolate bar side of the Graham Cracker.
Place grilled plum on top of the Marshmallow and sandwich with the other half Graham Cracker.
Enjoy with friends and Champagne. Chin Chin!
