Have you been to Centro Trattoria & Bar in Hampton Bays yet?  East End foodies are flocking to this contemporary restaurant featuring Italian and Mediterranean flavors.  Open since December 2016, the year-round restaurant caters to the locals and the tourists alike.  Owner and culinary director, Salvador Biundo, curated the menu based on his family’s recipes with fresh pasta for their Pappardelle Bolognese and Linguini Pescatore and mouthwatering seafood dishes like Mediterranean Grilled Octopus.

The nostalgic, yet modern dishes are carried out by Executive Chef James Carpenter, formerly of American Hotel, The Living Room and Della Femina. Centro also serves a fantastic Italian “Aperitivo”, a simple and social happy hour with hor d’oeuvres, weekdays from 4-6pm with half priced pizza, select wine and  beer.  Along with a bottomless brunch on Sundays ($35).

One of the busiest places in the Hamptons, the restaurant can seat 220 guests with room to spare on their patio.  From the antipasti to the dolci, the dishes at Centro are full of bold flavors bursting with farm-to-table freshness.  With private catering rooms, a bocce court outside, and fireplaces to stay cozy and warm, this is the perfect spot for your next date, birthday dinner, or private party.
