My Favorite SUNDAY SUMMER RECIPE: Salmon Tartare with Avocado & Toasted Sesame
One of my favorite summer lunch recipes to serve is this Salmon Tartare with Avocado & Toasted Sesame salad. This delicious and easy to prepare dish offers a mix of texture, flavor, and a mouthwatering presentation. Perfect for a light lunch by the pool or a great appetizer for your next dinner party. Here’s where I learned the recipe and where I order my salmon from: Oshēn recipe
Ingredients:
- 3 Oshēn salmon fillets
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 green lime
- 1 lemon
- Olive oil
- Chive sprigs
- Toasted sesame seeds

- Pastry ring mold
I order the most delicious wild caught Chilean salmon which gets delivered right to my front door from OSHĒN. They deliver sustainably raised fresh & frozen salmon to consumers nationwide in eco-friendly fun packaging…Dock to door, look how pretty it arrives!
Step by step directions:
1: Slice salmon into small, bite-sized cubes. Chop the avocado into thin slices.
2: Rinse and chop chives. Mix chives with chopped salmon and avocado.
3: Sprinkle with lemon, lime, and olive oil. Add some salt and pepper. Then keep cool for three hours.
4: Garnish tartare with toasted sesame seeds. Mold salmon into a pastry ring, and place on plates. Carefully remove the circle and serve immediately.
