NEW!! Our Summer 2012 Photo Diary: Lauran & Charlie Walk
Everybody who knows Lauran Walk~ loves her! A beautiful wife, mom, athlete, Water Mill resident, and the constant companion of her high-octane husband, Charlie, Chairman and Co-founder of JWALK. The Walks are one of our favorite couples on the East End~ always charming, smiling, present…..and the life of every party!
KDH asks Lauran and Charlie to share some of their favorite moments of Summer 2012 below…
Lauran tells KDH, “Amazing one-of-a-kind experiences with family and friends made my Summer of 2012 extra special! My summer highlights included: Monday Nights at the Drum Circle on Sagg Main Beach with my babies. Surfing with my soul sister Katie Lee and the best surf instructor Chris Clarke on Meadow Lane. Friday nights at the Wolffer Winestand, sipping local rose overlooking the vineyard…”
“My summer ‘loves’: Sunday night bonfires on Flying Point Beach with my husband and children, enjoying incredible organic food from Round Swamp. Starting every morning with Soul Cycle in Bridgehampton defining my mind and body at the same time, along with the spiritual feeling of connectivity you got from Soul Cycle’s Annual Midnight Full moon 90 minute ride with Spin Master legend Laurie Cole!”
“And how can we forget world class parties like C Wonder & Tory Burch Co-founder Chris Burch’s Pink Party? Or fashion designer Ramy Brook transforming her backyard into Tuscany with a spectacular Italian dinner prepared by her husband, Rob… And lastly, Charlie and I loved driving to Montauk for date night at the Hideaway, [owned & operated by our pals Frieda & Skip], our secret spot for fresh Montauk caught yellow fin tuna tacos & homemade blood orange margaritas. There is no place like the Hamptons in the world….Blessed!”
Charlie Walk is considered one of the most talented executives in the advertising, branding and entertainment arena, but this marketing mogul cherishes his down time with family and love of the Hamptons with heartfelt appreciation…
Charlie shares with KDHamptons, “This summer was about truly embracing family, friends and participating in all of the unique experiences the Hamptons has to offer. It was less about going out for dinners, and more about spending time at homes of friends, the beach, the water and the incredible food and wine that comes from the Hamptons soil and ocean. If you’re going to be here, then be present and participate. It makes all the difference!”
