Here’s your exclusive chance Hamptons drama queens!  Writer, Director, Actor and Sag Harbor resident, Nick Gregory, is casting for some upcoming scenes for the pilot he is shooting in the Hamptons and he wants to cast KDHamptons readers! Aptly titled, 27 East is based in Manhattan and the Hamptons.  A “dramady” which tells the story of Nick as a kid growing up in the Hamptons struggling to survive his artistic family, and the Buddhist monk they take in to live with them. Thirty years later, Nick’s world is turned upside down again when his best friend Dick betrays him. Can men have the same kind of friendships they did as kids? Nick intends to find out in this Californication-meets-the-Hamptons story line….PSSST! KDH convinced Nick to share the trailer for 27 East; click video at top to play!

The production team is looking for a chic, gorgeous girl to play the role of the “hot hostess” [age 20-35], as well as 10-20 attractive, well dressed extras to appear in a restaurant scene to be shot at Tutto Il Giorno in Southampton.

Call time is 9am, finishing at 4pm, at Tutto Il Giorno on Feb. 14th [56 Nugent Street Southampton; (631) 377-3611]. There’s a second shoot at Stephen’s Talkhouse in Amagansett on Monday at 9 so try for both!
