EAT. DRINK. TAKEOUT. It’s official. My favorite restaurant in the Hamptons right now is Sag Pizza on Main Street in Sag Harbor.  I think everyone in the Hamptons has been waiting for the BEST pizza restaurant to finally drop anchor on the East End….and finally we have it in Sag Pizza.

The interior of Sag Pizza feels like a sleek and chic open kitchen in a Hamptons home. The bright awnings and oversize windows invite sidewalk strollers and kids after school to pop in for a slice or bring the family for dinner. Sag Pizza’s pizza is a northern-Italian, thin crust pizza with a delicious crunchy crust loaded with bubbles from baking in the brick oven.

All of the deliciously fresh ingredients that go into the menu are hand selected by Chef Andrew Buffalino.  The Avocado, Arugula Salad with Crispy Kale is my favorite appetizer on the menu, as well as the Meatballs, and Calamari Fritti, Every pizza on the menu is mouthwatering, but my favorites are the NUYC Pepperoni, and the Mushroom and Tartuffo.  For pasta, my favorite dish is the Mezzi Rigatoni with spicy sausage, bitter greens, pine nuts, and pecorino.
