KDHamptons: How long have you been coming to the Hamptons? Why do you love it so much?
PH: I was born and raised in the Hamptons. I love the small town feeling with the ocean and the forests, there is no place like it!

KDH: Please describe your Hamptons home, gardens and decorating style for our readers?
PH: My home has lots of dark wood and stone. Since I have many deer, I have mostly deer resistant shrub gardens. I love Boxwood and textured foliage. My decorating style is eclectic and I just use what I like.

KDH: Store style: How do you describe Lynch’s aesthetic?
PH: Lynch’s is family friendly and has a friendly staff. We have a great selection of plants, and unique gift items. I buy as though I am decorating my home. I also buy what I like and that seems to work well with customers.

KDH: What is your favorite restaurant? Do you have a  favorite dish and drink?
PH: Tuscan House in Southampton is my favorite restaurant. They have a great menu, and it’s a real dining experience. I am a vegetarian, so I pretty much love any great vegetable dish. I don’t drink, but I love water!

KDH: Please describe your perfect day in detail for KDHamptons readers?
PH: My perfect day is like this: I wake up at 5 am, feed the animals, make lunch for my son, put him on the bus, and go to work. I love having a busy, busy day at work!

KDH: What is the greatest part about your job? If you could snap your fingers and instantly have another career~ what would be your dream job?
PH: I cant choose what one particular part of my job as the greatest, I just love my job.  I wouldn’t want another job, I love what I do.

KDH: Do you have a “best kept secret” destination in the Hamptons?
PH: Best kept secret is no secret- the ocean.

KDH: What are your plans for the holidays? Travel where, or staying out East?
PH: For the holidays we are  staying home for Christmas and having my entire family over.  I have 6 sisters and 1 brother  and  all of  their families come over and celebrate!

KDH: Which is your favorite season in the Hamptons and why?
PH: I am definitely a beach girl, so summer is my favorite season because I love to go to the beach!

KDH: What is your best selling item during this holiday season?
PH: The best seller this year would definitely be the flocked reindeer [pictured at left] and the world and peace ornaments.

KDH: Lynch’s has such a great selection of Christmas decor. Where do you acquire most of your items?
PH: I try to support local suppliers and specialty items I find in unique catalogs.

KDH: Who do you think has the greatest gardens and property in the Hamptons?
PH: Mine of course!
