Sunset Cocktail Party in the Garden: The 9th Annual Much Ado About Madoo
Some of the best things about summertime are sunsets, cocktails, and gardens. The Madoo Conservancy is thrilled to announce their 9th Annual Much Ado About Madoo garden party with a garden market from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m and sunset cocktail party from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The event will take place on Saturday, June 15, 2019. Guests will enjoy a magical cocktail party in the Madoo gardens, have access to the wide variety of items for sale, and bid on live auction items donated by leading artisans including John Derian, Frances Palmer, Vladimir, Clare Potter and Madoo’s founder, Robert Dash. The garden market features exclusive dealers of garden furniture and accessories, rare plants, garden antiques, and gourmet foods!
Cocktail party tickets are $300 for individuals, $250 for Madoo members, $150 for under
35, and will benefit programming and maintenance of the incredible gardens at the
Madoo Conservancy for future generations.
Attendees will also be able to view the exhibition, Madoo: A History in Photographs, Celebrating 25 Years as a Public Garden, which is a display of photographs, book and magazine features, and original artwork from the archives of Robert Dash—curated by Southampton-based landscape architect Perry Guillot, who lived at Madoo during the summer from 1987-1994.
