“Our party is always fun- but this year’s is going to be amazing, as Laird Hamilton and Gabby Reece are coming back to lead the paddle with special friends from Hanalei who will treat us to drumming, dancing and fire shows,” shares Paddle For Pink founder Maria Baum [with her family, below]. “Lena Dunham will join them in welcoming DJ Brendan Fallis and music legend, Nile Rodgers for performances that should have everyone on their feet!” The Hamptons Paddle & Party for Pink is one of the most anticipated events of the summer. The event continues from sunrise to sunset; a paddle board race in the morning and a sunset cocktail party in the evening, all benefiting Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

“Every single donation really does count and it all adds up quickly to become something very significant. You know how passionate I am about the BCRF and the research we support. Thank you, again, for your good wishes and love over these past years. It has resulted in profound and very real advances that have changed the course of how we treat this disease forever.”

The summer fundraiser includes a morning multi-skill, World Paddle Association (WPA) sanctioned paddle board race in Sag Harbor and an evening party in Bridgehampton with a DJ set by internationally acclaimed Brendan Fallis and a performance by Grammy Award Winning Artist Nile Rodgers and the ladies of CHIC. The evening party will also feature entertainment by the Coppin Colburn Family, World Famous Hawaiian Fire Dancers. This event has raised over $3.5 million thus far for BCRF’s mission of funding the most innovative breast cancer research around the world.
