KDHamptons loves to learn about local entrepreneurs building new businesses: South Fork Pet Company has launched a line of all-natural, artisanal pet treats made from locally-sourced ingredients. Born out of an “endless quest for a healthier dog treat for her finicky dog”, Gretchen Mannix began experimenting with her own recipes, with her dog Stevie taste-testing along the way. The final product is a line of grain-free, soy-free, sugar-free, low-sodium, and gluten-free dog treats, hand crafted with human-grade ingredients with no additives or artificial flavoring.

Using only the freshest locally-sourced poultry, meats, fish, fruits, vegetables, and herbs, South Fork Pet treats are handmade in small batches in the beautiful hamlet of Amagansett. The line includes Chicken Crisps with sweet potato, apple, and parsley; Turkey Crisps with carrot, apple, and kale; Cod Skin Crunch, and Chicken and Veggie Crumble Topper for finicky eaters.
