Dear KDHamptons readers, November is Adopt A Senior Pet Month and the Southampton Animal Shelter is waiving their adoption fees on all pets over 7 years of age!! Over the past two years, KDHamptons has helped aid in the adoption of many dutiful dogs and compassionate cats at the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation. We hope you might consider adopting one of the loving animals featured this week~ what better gift is there than to save a life?

The Southampton Animal Shelter has been works nonstop to show these animals a lot of love~ bathing them, holding them, and spreading the word to help find them a home. [pssst! Diamond [pitcured at very top] spent the first 8 years of her life living outdoors, tied up. There was never anything special during those times, every day was the same. She never really learned how to be a dog, and here at SASF we have been teaching her. Diamond is shy at first, but like our rescued puppy mill dogs, most things are new to her. This beautiful creature has learned behavior, warmth, play, treats, kindness, companionship and love.

Dori is a beautiful tortie at 14 years old. She has been waiting patiently for a new home with a couch or a windowsill to lounge on. Dori has been at the shelter since August of 2012 and gets along great with others!

Torre’s family split up and this 8 year old girl was left at the shelter. This will be her 2nd Christmas here and even though Torre is well cared for here, she longs for someone to lounge her days or go for a stroll with. Torre loves people and she will be your best friend and couch buddy for many years to come. Come and meet her and change her life and yours for the better!

Paisley is a 9 year old talker! She has just enough “Cattitude” and loves the attention!  The good looks complete this purrfect package!
