Tempting Thanksgiving Offerings from Baron's Cove Executive Chef Nicholas Vogel
The Restaurant at Baron’s Cove is pleased to share its new autumn menu featuring seasonal fall fare and locally sourced ingredients from around the East End and beyond. Highlights from Executive Chef Nicholas Vogel’s new seasonal menu include: Truffle Potato Gnocchi with herb & shallot cream sauce, truffle pate, and parmesan; Scallops a la Plancha; Grilled Cauliflower Steak with local broccoli, crispy new potatoes, citrus labneh, salsa verde; a Montauk fish of the day; Moules Frites with garden herbs, cherry tomatoes, coconut milk, sriracha and lemongrass broth, served with shoestring fries; a Berkshire 12oz Bone-In Pork Chop; New York Strip sourced from Snake River Ranch farms, and other seasonal delights.
In addition to the new fall menu, the award-winning restaurant has also shared its Thanksgiving menu with new whole turkey offerings. Guests, visitors and neighbors are invited to leave the cooking and cleaning to the Baron’s Cove team and visit the cozy, waterfront restaurant for a festive farm-to-table Whole Turkey Thanksgiving which includes a farm fresh turkey and sides as well as choice of a pumpkin or pecan pie. This special dine-in offer feeds 6-8 people and the cost is $540 per table.
For those interested in a 3-course option, there is also a pre-fixe Thanksgiving dinner menu featuring traditional favorites such as Butternut Squash Soup with brioche crouton and butternut squash oil; Turkey Dinner with cranberry sauce, potato puree, haricot vert, and gravy; Stuffed Delicata Squash with dijon vinaigrette, brussel sprouts, and pepper jam; and seasonal sides such a Turkey Stuffing; Braised Mustard Greens; Potato Puree, and more. The cost is $90 for adults, $40 for children.
Those who prefer to enjoy Thanksgiving in the comfort of home may take advantage of reserving one of the restaurant’s farm fresh turkeys. Sourced from Beach Plum Farm in West Cape May, NJ, these breasted white turkeys are farm raised from poults in a brooder then moved into coops on farm pasture and fed a healthy and varied diet of grass, clover, insects and grain. This special new turkey offering includes oven-ready gravy and sides, plus choice of pumpkin or pecan pie. The cost is $350 per whole turkey, feeds four people.
