The French 75 Cocktail
My sister sent the recipe for this drink from the Banyan Tree resort in Abu Dhabi! Serve it for a holiday party..
[ingredients]2 ounces London dry gin
1 teaspoon superfine sugar
1/2 ounce lemon juice
5 ounces Brut champagne or Prosecco[/ingredients]
Glass Type: Collins glass or stem
[instructions]Shake well with cracked ice in a chilled cocktail shaker, then strain into a Collins glass half-full of cracked ice and top off with champagne.[/instructions]
French 75 was made famous at Harry’s Bar in Paris, in the early 1900’s.
