On Saturday, July 19th, the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation will hold its Fifth Annual Unconditional Love Dinner Dance Gala. Proceeds raised will be directed not only to our exemplary daily care of the shelter animals, but also for special projects undertaken over the past year, including rescue efforts for those dogs that have been enslaved in puppy mills and the programs that the shelter has developed for special needs children. This year the shelter will be honoring Georgina Bloomberg for all of her work with animal advocacy. The promises a night of James Bond themed intrigue. Former Bond Girl, animal lover and SASF adopter, Rachel Grant, who played Peaceful Fountains of Desire in the movie “Die Another Day” will be a special guest. All proceeds benefit our Animal Shelter. Also in attendance will be Jean Shafiroff, Chairwoman, Jonathan W. McCann, Board President. Legendary maestro Alex Donner will keep the crowd dancing the night away and Robbins Wolfe will cater the event.

In addition, the Shelter leads the country with its “live release rate” which means that of all dogs and cats brought to the shelter, 94 percent are adopted into loving homes ~ how amazing is that?
