Stoney Clover Lane opened its first East Hampton store this summer with a brightly decorated boutique that perfectly matches its colorful lifestyle and accessories, including customizable weekender bags at 83 Main St., East Hampton. With lines out the door on most weekends, Stoney Clover Lane was the busiest accessories store in town, and quickly became the shopping staple for customizable accessories and the most useful gifts for friends (or for yourself 😊).

The millennial staple brand with a current outpost in Palm Beach was founded by sister duo Kendall and Libby Glazer (below) in 2009 with a line of colorful bracelets that quickly became a must-have for Hollywood celebs and other A-listers from Miley Cyrus to John Mayer and more! The sisters were inspired by their jet-set lifestyle to reimagine travel, customization, and organization.

Says Kendall Glazer, Co- Founder and Creative Director of Stoney Clover Lane.“Stoney Clover Lane is really an extension of our lives: from where we travel, to how we pack, what we’re  loving and what  we’re discovering… Since we have spent summers in East Hampton, it only made sense to open out East next. Opening a store here allows us to spend time with our guests — hosting events, giving customization advice, and having fun.”

KDHamptons: How did your first summer experience go out East? Any surprises?

Kendall & Libby: Our first summer surpassed our expectations! We loved meeting so many of our guests and being able to hang out in the store all summer. We knew the store would be busy, but we never could have imagined how busy it would be everyday. It was such a dream come true for us. It was amazing to see guests come back week after week to create new bags and browse our favorite curated products, and it was exciting to see groups come in together — sometimes a few generations and other times groups of friends

KDHamptons : What did your customers love most? And will you be back next summer? 

Kendell & Libby: Our customers loved customizing bags on the spot and then being able to pick them up just a few days later! Our Hamptons destination patches were a huge hit with guests since they highlighted iconic spots like Wolffer Estate, Gurney’s, Duryeas and more!
