- The Hampton Maid : 259 E Montauk Hwy, Hampton Bays; (631) 728-4166; The Hampton Maid has been a East End tradition since 1959, If you are looking for a delicious home cooked country style breakfast the Hampton Maid is the place for you. Enjoy fresh berries in creme, steak-n-eggs, fresh baked muffins and more as you overlook the the Shinnecock Bay. The Hampton Maid does not take reservations so there can be a 20 minute wait in the middle of the summer.
2. James Maguire Antiques: 94 W Montauk Hwy, Hampton Bays; (631)723-3928; KDHamptons loves to explore every inch of James Maguire Antiques in Hampton Bays. JMA is one of the best kept secrets of decorators, collectors, tastemakers and designers on Long Island offering 18th & 19th-century antiques in perfect condition, brass chandeliers, collectible paintings, 60’s Mod pieces, garden sculptures and more. Maguire acquires his eclectic array of goods from auctions, estate sales, and private collections. James Maguire Antiques is just up the road from Good Ground Antiques Center, below.

KDHamptons is always on the look out for East End antiquing, and this unassuming multi-dealer shop in Hampton Bays is one of the best kept secrets for local interior designers.
3. Rumba: 43 Canoe Place Rd, Hampton Bays;(631) 594-3544; This restaurant is perfect for lovers of island food and cocktails. Rumba gives the summer vibe of a Caribbean getaway with an inspired Island Cuisine and Rum Bar. Owners of Rumba Rachel and Davis Hersh wanted to create a island environment that feels like a tropical getaway, “ To create a place where everyone who visits is transported to a sun warmed island where there’s soft sand under your feet and a cool breeze blowing through your hair while enjoying a tasty meal and fun drinks.” KDHamptons hops on the “Rumboat” after dinner to head over to their sister restaurant, Cowfish, for a Rum Punch.

Break it down to the summer music every Friday and Saturday night outside on the lawn, and the 1/2 off drinks and appetizers at the outdoor bar with friends and family. Go hungry! Cowfish has something for everyone including burgers, seafood, sandwiches, and outstanding sushi. Enjoy fine dining overlooking the water as you drink summer cocktails out of mason jars and watch the sunset.

This family operated restaurant and marina has been around for almost 25 years feeding boaters, families, and fishermen on the East End, since it first opened. Enjoy live music and dancing at the outdoor bar, fantastic seafood, and cocktails as you watch the colorful sunset over Hampton Bays.

Scotto’s offers a mouthwatering New York style pizza menu and also offers delicious fresh baked breads, mozzarella, sausage, pastas, heroes, cold cuts, and more. They also cater parties, weddings, and pig roasts if you’re into that! Visit Scotto’s Pork Store for a Italian taste of summer.
10. Ponquogue Beach: 280 Dune Rd, Hampton Bays; (631) 728-2530; Throw on your favorite trendy one piece and flip flops and get your feet wet at the Ponquogue Beach this summer season. Ponquogue is a wide spread ocean beach near the Shinnecock Inlet that offers parking, a pavilion, restrooms and concessions. This beach is perfect for families, beach bums, and surfers.
