1. LT Burger: 62 Main St, Sag Harbor. A casual spot that you can go to straight from the beach. From their fried pickles, to backyard burgers, to sweet potato fries, milkshakes, and fried Oreo’s, LT burger has something for everyone in the family to indulge in.
2. Cowfish: 258 E Montauk Hwy, Hampton Bays. Sushi, happy hour, and live music! Oh my! At Cowfish, the whole family will be entertained while you’re sipping wine, watching the sunset over the water, and noshing on fresh caught seafood, a French Dip sandwich, or BBQ ribs.
3. Pellegrinos: 1271 Noyac Rd, Southampton. Wood burning pizza bar and restaurant with family size portions that you won’t be able to finish. The homemade meatballs and chicken parmigiana are our favorites.
4. World Pie: 2402 Montauk Hwy, Bridgehampton. This restaurant has been a Hamptons staple for a long time. Enjoy a giant pie on a summer nights with the family outside on the patio. Also, the grilled prawn salad is fantastic.
5. La Parmigiana: 44-48 NY-27A, Southampton. A true old school family style, Italian restaurant. Come hungry with the kids, Nonna and Nonno for the home made pastas, garlic knots, veal parmigiana, and fresh cannolis.
6. Bostwicks: 277 Pantigo Rd, East Hampton. Known as an ‘upscale seafood shack’, the kids can eat outside on the picnic tables but you don’t have to worry about them making any mess. The fried clams, and chowder are fan favorites here.
7. Lobster Roll: 1980 Montauk Hwy, Amagansett. Pop in on your way to visit the beaches in Montauk for one of the best lobster rolls in the Hamptons. P.S. This is where they fill The Affair on Showtime so snap a selfie for your friends who are addicted to the show.
8. The Dock House: 1 Long Wharf, Sag Harbor. The kids love to choose their own live lobster from the tub at this charming marina shack, and Dads love to drool over the mega yachts docked outside on the harbor. The fried clam roll, and scallops that come with a salad and ear of corn are perfection.
9. The Garden at Water Mill: 755 Montauk Hwy., Water Mill.
Gather your crew for a family-style lobster bake at the Garden at Water Mill. The new all-day restaurant features an expansive garden with lawn games, a 60-seat dining room and private dining spaces for large gatherings. The shareable menu includes large-format cocktails and unique crudos like amberjack with spicy coconut sauce, Kampachi with melon, sesame and pickled serrano, and octopus with yuzu kosho. Opens June 1st weekend.
10. Lobster Inn: 162 Inlet Rd, Southampton. After hours of traffic in the car from the city with the family, pull in to the Lobster Inn on a Friday night for live music, this clam stew with potatoes and bacon, sunset water views over the Bay, and of course, Lobster!
