TORY SPORT OPENS EAST HAMPTON BOUTIQUE
Following the success of a new outpost in in Lolita and Flatiron locations in NYC, Tory Sport recently launched a new store at 47 Newton Lane in East Hampton, New York, formerly a Tory Burch boutique. Like the Flatiron store, the 1,700-square-foot retail space has a light, clean, classically modern interior, inspired by the casual vibe of a 70’s surf lodge and Scandinavian design. White floors hand-painted with blue stripes, white-washed oak pegboards, and Jean Royère-inspired chairs featuring blue and white varsity stripes and graphic surfboards hanging on the wall add fresh pops of color to the space.
Tory Sport, launched by Tory Burch in September 2015, is a performance activewear collection that celebrates the elegance of sport. Inspired by the grace and strength of athletes, Tory Sport balances high-tech fabrics with classic design. Each style is crafted to reflect the beauty of the game and the empowering role that sports play in all aspects of a woman’s life. Tory Sport supports the Tory Burch Foundation, which empowers women entrepreneurs by providing access to capital, education programs and networking events.
The store will carry a wide assortment of the activewear collection, including high-performance clothing, bags, shoes and accessories for Running, Studio, Tennis, Swim, Golf, as well as Coming & Going. Prices range from $35 for cotton t-shirts to $495 for performance pieces with a unique laser-cut design. The collection is also available at www.torysport.com
