When KDH was a fashion editor at Conde Nast I used to love attending all of the shows in New York, Milan, and Paris each season. We all complained about how hectic the schedule was, but of course couldn’t wait to see our favorite shows [my favs? Versace, Galliano, Chanel and Dior].  Although I am a million miles away in Abu Dhabi right now, I love popping on line to see pix from the shows and reading emails from my fashion friends with hot-off-the-runway scoop~ like gorgeous Giselle showing up unexpectedly to close the Alexander Wang show [which was a great deflective PR move after the whole Super Bowl fiasco].

DESIGNER INSPIRATION: “The collection is a romantic cliché of something old New York – Upper East Side in the 1980s..but with a quirky twist,” said designer Thakoon Panichgul. “It’s reminiscent of the past but still feels modern.”

LOOK: “Thakoon wanted to focus on the lip this season,” said NARS makeup artist Diane Kendal. “It’s a fuschia pink, which is not an obvious color for a bold lip. We wanted to play with color, and it ends up making the whole look so interesting.”
